Did a search for 99 TL ashtray and no luck.My ashtray will not close all the way.1/2 inch gap.There is either a coin or something blocking it or it is bent,or off track.Is the tray removable as a separate piece or was it designed to just remove the red liner to empty.It is a unit door with one side being the ashtry and the other side a power outlet.

not sure this belongs here. especially since there is not pic.

either way, i don't think it comes out just the ashtray alone. however, it is fairly easy to remove the console to see the back of the ashtray.

happens to me all the time.. some change got jammed in the back.
youll need to pull the plastic piece off where the scanner is and try to get all the change out. You may not get it all initially but if you can get some change out itll loosen the rest up and eventually the stuff will shake out
