With all of the money you've put into it you might as well be the first one to keep it and do a rwd conversion.

Damn man your car is downright gorgeous. Everything is cleanly executed and not overdone whatsoever. I love it.

well if u guys have came so far, might as well do a rwd conversion. go a little bit farther, may be it'll change ur mind.

and the reason why is because there is no way ur gonna get any money back from this car, so its not really worth selling it. might as well keep it for longer and enjoy modding them.

(im sure i speak for brian also when i say this)i dont care to do rwd because i can get a car that already has rwd and a much better platform than the cl. the cl is a good car but i plan on moving to bigger and better things. im not keeping this car forever im eventually going to sell it. i know im not going to get back what i put into so im probably going to do a full part out when i get to the point that i want to sell it.

Oh look, someone ELSE agrees with me too. I guess it's only something that people with 6-speeds can understand....

I know, but it can be done, and they have spent so much money on their cars at this point that they might as well go that extra mile.

But i am not them, so they can do whatever they want with their cars. Just giving my

+1

It's much easier to just buy rwd car. Plus the it would be a hassle to do it. It just ain't worth it. I like my cl but there's much better cars I'd rather have in rwd.

a rwd conversion is much easier said than done. finding a shop up to my standards to perform the work and execute it is probably half the battle. imo, you've come farther than i have actually going through w/ a 6spd swap; i don't expect to get any more back for my car as i've already sold majority of the mods off of it. this car is basically going to turn into my daily.

it never really bothered me that this car was FWD. it served its purpose. if i wanted to go fast with RWD, i'd just jump on a bike.

disclaimer: both these bikes belong to a friend of mine, neither are mine.

Damn, the pic of the 1098 got me happy in the pants. I was shopping an 848 vs a Daytona 675. Im going with the 675 though, they actually handle better then the 848. Im not ready for the big dog 1000cc+ bikes though.

The seats were mounted in with:

Recaro Seat Brackets
Recaro Seat Sliders
Custom Ti-G welded Seat Mounts

If you're looking to put seats into your car, I can sell you my set up.

I couldn't help but play this line in my head when I saw this response:

"Nice ride, what's the retail on one of those."
"More than you can afford pal, Ducati Tricolore."

How did you fit 245's without some major rubbing?

I got 245's on 19x10 with 3 degrees camber + rolled/shaved fenders...still major rubbing.

i had 10.5 rear wheels with pulled fenders and more than 3 degrees camber. just have them camber your wheels to the point they have full clearance and then make sure you keep your toe in line on the alignment rack.

pulled fenders, bumper support relocation, etc.

that sucks. try meeting with a bodyshop to have them relocate the bumper reinforcement.

Yeah I need to do that because I feel sketched out that it's going to break off or something.

I hope that getting smaller tires is really going to help out a lot because the rubbing is pretty bad and the tires are all chopped up already
