people keep saying they will melt the housing, but i dont know if anyone has done it and actually had it happen to them. Anyways if you do get the HIDs let me know if the melting is true or not.

ok change of plans, im going to get the stock fog light covers dremel them out and stick either piaa or hella fogs on that run hid's through them since people say light output isnt that great this will be a better solution and still look stock. I just need to know the demensions of the fog light covers if anyone knows or knows which fog light will be best other then stock let me know ill also do a diy on it when im finished.

So after reading all the posts I'm still not to sure what to do.
I'm trying to install fog lights on my 03CL.
my questions are:
1. Do any other OEM fog lights fit the vent openning?
2. Can they be wired to a single switch and if so how?
3. How easy is it to clean the headlight housing?

Thanks

I think I saw a thread where someone cut the lense off the lights and glued some clear lexan over it.

Go to an Acura parts department. That's where I got my parts.

He may be talking about the clear lexan mod.

Google McMaster-Carr. They have everything on their site. Good prices too and very fast shipping, I usually get my stuff in a day. If you find the thread you can use the glue they suggest, or you can go to a Nissan dealer and pick up headlight sealant. Its very good glue.

Ok so I figured out what I want to do. I plan on using the stock fog light housing but modding it and inserting an LED strip. Along with painting the housing black and clearing the lens.
Whats the best way to wire the lights to either be independent of everything or only turn on with parking lights.
what do you guys think?

The pass side is $23 for some reason and the drivers side is $13. Check out acuraoemparts.com for the part numbers and to see what list price is. If your local dealer gives you list, tell them you saw it online at other dealers for less. They'll most likely drop the price.

Online dealers are your friend:

acuraoemparts.com or magauto.com

Fog light FS

Not sure if this is okay to post here, but thought it would be easier for anyone that’s looking to do this....
I have ONE passenger 2002 Acura CL foglight assembly for sale. However, I tried to remove lens and upon doing so I disfigured the housing a little using too much heat. Other than that it has never been used. It still fits into the opening in the bumper and looks okay. The only reason I'm not using it is because I ordered a new one before I checked if it still fit.
Asking price: $20 (online price $35 +shipping)

i would not put hid's into the 02 fogs they wont reflect right and HID's probably would melt the housing. If you were able to disfigure the housing with a heat gun the HID is a lot hotter.

What is the part that fits into this?

4) Light Socket 2P, Acura 2002 CLS, P/N 34303-SS1-003, qty 2, ($15)

The part that fits into the light socket which leads to the wires? I can't seem to find a replacement for it. Any help?

TL switch will work, but why not get some nice LED daytime running lights instead of factory fogs? It would be awesome to have some LED in there, of course it would have to be installed nicely so it looks factory.
