Unhappy TL-S I/H/E/P Dyno & Video 197whp/174wtq

went to the dyno for the first time and really dissappointed in my numbers i almost didnt wanna post them up..

i got 197whp and 174wtq my mods are in my sig.. ive heard of stock j32a2 making around this much i dont know what could be wrong. this was also done on a mustang dyno and from what ive heard the mustang dyno usually gives higher numbers then dynojet.

well anyways hope u guys can help me out i know that my imrc is opening though and i did seafoam on my vacuum line just last night hoping to clear out the engine a bit before i dyno.

heres the dyno sheet i took with my iphone so not that good quality. i cant get the video to show up but heres the link...

might wanna turn down your speakers.. its reallly loud vvvv

http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w...t=IMG_0211.mp4

this was my first time so i dont know what any of these numbers mean.. my torque curve looks kinda weird.. the guy said im running rich my afr was 11.6

Those are pretty low numbers. When you get your valves adjusted, put it back on the dyno.

It depends on how bad they are.

If the car is running rich, I wonder if they are too tight.

Ummmm.

Its true our valves are noisy. But too noisy is bad. Just the same as too tight.

You'll also be down on power and gas mileage if they arent within spec.

afr was in the 11's? the stock ecu wouldnt be able to get them that low. it stops around 12 unless you unplugged the wrong 02 sensor. try a dyno run without an AFR reading and report back.

if u MUST get an afr then do it in a seperate run, not a power run.

dont change the 02 sensors leave them alon.e they would throw a light if they were bad. the places remove the rear 02 to get an AFR, but its easy to remove the wrong one.

changing dynos is only gunna add another variable to the equation.

Mustang dynos read lower than any other dyno, dont let the numbers hurt your feelings, go back to the same dyno to see if you found a solution.

Just an FYI, Mustang dyno's typically read 10-15% lower than the run of the mill DynoJet.

That graph is really ugly too, I would get them to print a clearer chart without all the crazy lines on it.

Where did they take the A:F ratio from? If it was at the tailipipe its not 100% accurate. It needs to be read from a bung installed near the header collector.

Take it to a different shop that has a dynojet and can install the bung for cheap. For the bung and 3 pulls it should be under $200.

My suggestion would be to call a couple local places with a dynojet and ask them how much for a couple pulls and how much to weld a bung for the a/f reading.

Im going to dyno my cl next weekend. Its dynopack so hopefully it will be all good. What numbers should i get ? I was hoping for 230-235whp but right now im confused. Stock cls 6speed is like 215-220 whp right ?

I heard that dynodynamic is the best dyno.

My stock 6 speed put down 218hp/206tq on a DynoJet.

Your numbers may be higher with a dynopack, since you wont lose any hp from rolling resistance or wheel weight.

nice numbers.
i need to get mine dynoed.
i just have the intake manifold spacer, throttle body spacer and gaskets and intake and modded slave cylinder. maybe i would lay down between 220-225whp?

what do you guys run in the quarter with 240+ hp?
i am wanting to run mid to high 13's, so i have a way to go with modding
