How to know if transmission is original
I have a 2001 acura 3.2 CL. I bought it about 2 1/2 years ago at 203,000 miles. Im at 278,000 now and coming up on 300,000 pretty quick since I deliver pizzas and drive about 75-100 miles a day (about 35,000 a year). I understand that the tranny in my car has been plagued with issues, so im curious if its the original or has been rebuilt/replaced. Is there a serial number i can match with the engine or VIN and where exactly is it located? Or are there any markings on any bolts to know if its ever been opened up before?
