my entire audio system is frozen...this is the second time it's happened in the last month.....what causes this and what's the remedy? 2014 RLX

It has only happened to me once, and I was using a USB drive at the time. Haven't since and no issue.

Does car shut down and restart unfreeze, or do you have to disconnect battery?

This has happened to me twice since I purchased my 2014 PAWS Advance in Nov 2016. I had to shut off the car and restart to fix the problem.

I have so many glitches I don't even keep track of them anymore. LOL....

My AcuraLink light has been red for ages now. It still seems to work so I just ignore it.

Sometimes the iPhone won't sync the contacts and last calls, sometimes the interface just up and calls somebody totally different from the one that I said out loud, and it stopped using Siri over the speakers sometime around iOS 10.3.

Pandora and Aha!...yeah, good luck with that.

Use button to select Pandora---> Loading--> Loading--> Loading---> No Data!

Unplug iPhone, plug in again...magically quickly starts playing.

Whatever.

The 5G Legend is still an awesome car, and I like driving it.

But the infotainment system in its entirety is a very big negative factor.

I guess that speaks volumes for the excellence of the Sport Hybrid idea that I still want to hold onto the car.

Thankful this hasn't happened to me. However, I agree on the solution: go through the entire reboot sequence as described above.

Tonight my top screen did not show the Acura symbol and subsequently go into display mode. The bottom screen functioned, but the top screen remained dark. I restarted the car three times to no avail. Parked car in our garage, ate supper and then started the car. The Acura symbol came on the screen and the screen went into full display as if nothing had happened.

My take is a reset sometimes involves a longer off time before restarting the car. Anyone else have a similar episode? My car is a 2016 hybrid.

I have had the top screen issue on my 2016 hybrid as well. Restarting the car has cleared the issue for me. On a similar note, there are times when I am trying to search the hard drive for recorded music and it doesn't display the albums/artists, etc. I am very disappointed with the infotainment system overall, but as George stated, the hybrid aspect of the car really shines.

Believe it or not, I was able to get people associated with the iOS 11 team to research the Bluetooth issues rather thoroughly.

They make it sound like nobody in the Known Universe is complaining about this but me.

But...as you might expect, it's the car, not the iPhone.

They think that the improved Bluetooth radio and protocols in the iPhone X will make it even worse.

^^ Now that is encouraging news! Geez. Surprised the folks at Honda/Acura are not keeping ALL of their vehicles at least on even footing when it comes to technology. I understand there's way too much tech to keep updated. But at least it could be closer to what the mass population is using. I mean I am not bitching because I use a Windows phone and know I am up against it no matter what. But I certainly feel for you guys with the latest, greatest stuff and it still doesn't work well!
