Pretty damn good looking coilers. I hope they ride smooth and plush, but also have great dampening ability. The KW suspension version for Japanese Cars looks to be RSR

The install will be the same as the springs install leaving out the part where the spring compressor is needed. The DIY created for the spring install will work.

Here's what it will look like with the RSR Sports-I coilover. Vehicle drove amazing with this new setup.

Yes that is is true. Sorry for the confusion when "slang" typing. I was wanting to know when we could expect to see a road test review. Those look like some quality coilers.

Mike, how would you compare the ride between the coilovers and the springs? I do notice a stiffer ride with the springs. I am guessing this is to be expected with the shorter travel of the shocks/springs?

You are absolutely right, the travel is much shorter. We did not mess with the RSR pre-set spring rate and only adjusting the dampening function (36-way). It definitely gives a different driving character than the RSR Down springs. A lot more responsive on turns and curvy road.

Yes sir. Custom orders does take more time to arrive here. Remember, all RSR coilovers are hand build in Japan.

Would you, by chance, know if a camber kit is in the works of the TL? I am getting tired of seeing that negative camber and getting questions from strangers about my "bent" wheels.

There is a rear camber kit by SPC in the works that should be ready soon. Of course soon by some company standards could mean weeks or months, lol.

I haven't talked to Mike recently about it, so maybe there's some newer developments, but thats the last i heard about it

Mike,

What's the drop with the coilovers compared to the 1" or so with the down springs?

So far I am reading that coilovers provide better handling. Any other differences in the feel of the drive?

Coilovers are available too but will cost a heck of a lot more. Did you check HeelToe's website?

I love these lowering options. Great work, it's a lot to put in the R&D on a product for a vehicle that isn't geared toward enthusiasts! I kinda wish I had a TLX to start my projects all over again!

I lowered mine with springs. They used NSX springs. The ride is a lot stiffer but the handling is tighter and more responsive.

"They" being the dealer? Can I ask how much the NSX springs were? Looks great. That's how low it should have come from the factory.

That is quite a bit $$ for springs but......

Car looks good lowered.

Cool AF to be able to say you are on NSX springs.

About 2 inches. It eliminates the gap above the wheel.
