2018 Still Night aspec, Stance wheels and TEIN coilovers

I'm a long time member here, haven't modded my last 2 Acuras but when I saw this blue aspec I knew I couldn't leave it alone. Wheels and drop on their way. Gonna be another week or so but I had to tease you guys a bit! Wheels are being built right now and will ship out by next week or so. Possible XLR8 exhaust in the future. I'll have to contact them for specifics first. Stay tuned for eye candy! Check out my post history for my previous builds. I believe some of the pic links still work.

for those who might be wondering; I considered going with Vossen wheels, because I have liked them since they were a new brand, however these days they are way too played on the TLX and I am NOT someone who goes with the grain. I had to add some fresh blood to this car!

Thanks to Marcus at Heeltoe for the help picking out the coilovers I really wanted. If you haven't already, consider buying from them. Very informative and good customer service.

I got the car lowered tonight. Took a few hours. It got pretty late on a work night so I'll have to take better pics later. It's very weird to be so low after so many years. My last few lowered cars were very modest spring drops. I won't be able to comment on ride quality for a bit till I get used to driving lowered again. One thing I did notice immediately was the road noise was much more noticeable. Also, the car looks heinous lowered on the stock aspecs. I gotta wait another couple weeks for my wheels to be finished being built. I can tell already I'll need to do a little fine tuning on the height after things settle for a few miles. Once I fine tune it I'll get the car aligned and slap the new wheels on. Stay tuned!

Still needs either the rear raised, or the front lowered. I haven't decided for sure yet.

Did you have any trouble with the Tein Flex coilover fitment? I remember some other threads where people who purchased the Teins said they needed to add washers by the top hat to prevent a gap that these coilovers had when you lowered the car a couple inches. How are you liking the coilovers so far, any problems?

no issues with ride or install at all. Very straight forward. Took it on the freeway for the first time this weekend and it felt smoooooth. Doing 100mph felt like 60.

I'm sure it is, as well as poor handling since the sway bar is disconnected in the front. The end link bolts into the bracket with a hole in it right beside the Tein sticker.

Question Looking good.

Is it easy to do?? and do you lose your comfort level with lowering the car?

I'm looking to lower mine, but scared to do it. since I don't want to ruin the org specs for the car.

Also does the Sport+ lower the car to get better handling?
