So, guys, to be clear...I have a pretty severe back injury which is part of why my temper was so short with this whole situation. Driving down the freeway last night was Just torture. As I said, I took a guy at the dealer for a ride and he loved it...so it could be me? I dunno. I have decided to hold off on the trade a little longer. I may even just suck it up and get close to the end of my lease if I can last that long. But unless I have surgery to fix this, hot rods are no longer in my future. I may be looking more for something like a Jeep SRT.

Jeep SRT is

I would love one, but can't swing that right now.

I'm working on getting a 392 though.... Saving my pennies, I should be able to do it February 2019.

I'm currently debilitated by my sciatica...
fucking incredible. Walking like a 90 year old. Yeah, the S2000 is my last choice lately.
Well, also because of my daughter but you get it.

I'm thinking it might be time to sell? Maybe you can go SRT8 as well?

Yeah, a bad back changes your temperament and tolerance towards life in general. I hurt my back at work several years back and suffer chronic pain and spasms. I had to give up my love for sportbikes because I couldn't handle the riding position and stiffer suspension settings because I knew only one way to ride...fast!

Now you have me nervous I always lowered my cars, and I was stuck between tein, rsr or just bitting the bullet and going with airbags, I’ve always rode on tein coilovers and never had a proble. Any advice

honestly man it's more my on view due to my back and short temper. I think you'll be fine if you know what you're getting into. I softened the coilovers to their softest setting and it did make a huge difference. It seems I had them set pretty stiff to begin with. I wouldn't say there is anything wrong with the Tein at all. High quality stuff

an every day struggle. I used to enjoy driving but now its starting to suck if it's further than my work commute. Softening the suspension definitely helped with the bumpy ride, but it's always a painful drive these days. I'm half tempted to say screw it give me surgery.

did anyone hear the news?? Twin turbo type S in the future...

Twin? It's supposed to be a DOHC, variable VTEC, 3.0L, V6 turbo. Not a twin turbo though.

The variable VTEC will be interesting. I don't know what it's actually called, but apparently it works across the entire RPM range, if I'm not mistaken. Yay!! Honda/Acura is innovating again!!!

Well, guys.... so it looks like I'm raising the car to some capacity. 7k miles and my pretty NITTO INVOs are toast. They are beginning to separate on the inside edge with 90% left on the rest of the tire. That is just plain unnaceptable. I can't justify buying new tires twice a year..I'm not 19 and this isn't a gay cambergang civic. (Personal opinion).

I will keep them on a bit longer and hopefully raising the car will make them get a few hundred more miles. I am also getting pretty substantial heel toe wear on the rear tires.

I've never had a lowered car eat tires like this before. I can't justify spending that kind of money every 6 months

hey guys, just a heads up I will be posting my suspension and wheels for sale in classifieds in the near future. I loveeee my wheels, but I won't be able to use them without being on the TEINs, and I am shopping for another vehicle, possibly an SRT, so there is no guarantee I will be able to use them, so ill use the money towards the down.

hey guys, back from the dead. I ended up finally purchasing a new car. I was not able to purchase an SRT jeep unfortunately because it honestly was just out of my budget. they just keep going up in price! I almost purchased an SRT charger, a Daytona R/T charger in B5 blue....there were a few diff cars...I ultimately went to test drive a Lexus RC coupe...I wasnt impressed...but as I was walking the dealer lot, the RX F sport caught my eye, red interior, huge screen, 20 inch wheels etc...it was like driving on clouds. the seats are super comfy...I decided to purchase it. I realize its no muscle car, but I will have my touches on it. wheels, maybe bags...already installed a sub...I bought a JL 12W7AE and holy shit......

anyway, I loved the Acura, but I just couldnt handle the ride. ill be selling the wheels as they won't fit my new car...sooo...yeah. thanks for coming along on my TLX journey!
