Question 2019 MDX dealer arrival dates

I just talked to my dealer, that is the leader in units sold for over 5 yrs in their Region, and has the most allocations than all others in the Region, about when we'll see '19 MDX's

The A-Spec version they will get in about 2 wks. I kinda suspected that. BUT, what I was shocked to hear....the other Models won't be in for approx. 2 months!! I didn't see that coming. Wow......

I think it may have something to do with the # of '18's still on the ground. Not sure. MDX's always sell very well, and there are great deals on the '18's right now. But, I'm waiting for the '19, with the
few changes they will have that are a reason to buy, for me.

Checked my dealer today and he has an A-Spec on salesroom floor and an Advance in inventory. Also shows a couple of Advance and Techs in transit.

Well, Acura also "announced" that July 17th MDX's would be available. That didn't happen. Not so sure IF the Sport Hybrid could have been found on an Acura's dealer's lot yesterday. ?????

Why would your dealer tell you that new Mdx models wouldn’t be arriving for two months? He probably had a bunch on the ground already if he is such a large dealer. My dealer has had the Aspec on his sales floor for almost a week.

Either he or his dealer can't be trusted. The Acura press releases have so far been reliable.

Acura Press Releases are NOT always trustworthy. I have found many errors...technical and other wise with my new RDX...or TLX...have both....They said on 7/17/18 that the MDX would be arriving today! Didn't read if anyone saw any '19 MDX's on that date.

They said the tire size on the RDX A-Spec was a 40 series tire...NOT TRUE. Even the RDX Brochure...very fancy if you haven't seen it....has the same printed error!! They do make mistakes!!

MOST all dealers have lots of '18 MDX's on the ground. Same as '18 RDX's.....

So, you decided to attack me for not being able to trust? Is that what you are saying? Just want to make sure.

I only expressed what I was told....and, he was wrong. And, the fact that "other Regions" have had a car or two arrive has nothing to do with my dealer being "not trustworthy." Damn, folks....going negative immediately. BS.

My dealer is in a Region that they happen to be #1. That doesn't mean they are outselling another dealer in some other region...etc, etc. Geez, man, get a grip.

I'm not commenting here to piss people off...you seem to be more than ready to attack. Why so sensitive over SUV's arriving??? "Oh, MY dealer has had a car already...YOU must be a liar or not trustworthy." PLEASE....wise up.

I wrote them today and had the New Car Mgr. give me a new date of when MDX's might arrive. Their web page shows 7 inbound. You must have a lame dealer...only 1 or 2 in bound? LOL!!! Time for a little payback. NOW...play nice! Not on here for your erroneous speculative BS...just because you are sitting behind a "device" and typing out whatever you feel like it.

I repeated what they thought was happening at the time...SO SUE ME!

Maybe, when he told me, via email, he meant 2 wks, not 2 mos. But, don't speculate on what you
know nothing about. Making accusations that I or they...are not trustworthy. Wow......I've known these same folks for many years...and they treat me like gold. Period. End of story.

This is a place where people come to get information, not gossips. The thread you started contains nothing but misinformation.

Maybe the transmission tweaks, maybe the A-Spec, maybe the expanded availability of the active dampers, those are the big ones. : 2019 Acura MDX Arrives With Luxury And Performance Upgrades Plus First A-Spec Variant

A-Spec. Yeah, baby. I want my grocery getter with an aggressive front end design, just like the Camry.
