rear view side mirrors going nuts!

My 2015 has had the mirrors go nuts right after startup a few times.Big clunking sounds as they cycle up and down,up and down.I shut the engine off, then restart it and it seems to quit.Sometimes takes months to reoccur.

So I was wondering if anyone here has experienced that?

Thanks for any feedback, Steve

My passenger side one makes a clicking sound when it moves and is choppy. I sprayed silicone spray and that helped a little. From what I understand there is no way to remove the mirror and look at the motor so you need to replace the entire side view mirror
