Not all that it is cracked up to be.

If I have freshly painted lines, why does it state "Steering Required" after 30 seconds or so. A waste in my opinion and I could totally do without.

Now the Adaptive Cruise Control is handy.

2016; it comes with the acura watch package, I have the base AWD model with AWP.

That's just the way the system works. They require steering after 30 seconds basically to verify you're awake and paying attention.

I'd have to agree it's not all it's cracked up to be. Mine tends to ride too far to the left in the lane. It will also allow the car to easily blow out of the lane to the left sounding the lane alert but not steering itself to stay within the lane. I've had the sensor replaced, recalibrated, etc., and it's not better. It also tends to try to dive to the right when passing off ramps. From what I could tell driving a new 2019 RDX, they aren't any better.
