Love it. And love Jon's messaging. It's really great to see them finally speaking the language of true product branding and product marketing. Consistency and attention to detail across the product line is finally front and center. That along with product quality, is how you build strong brand awareness and customer loyalty.

Can't wait to see what the FMC brings with the redesigned interior.

Bravo Acura. And thanks for sharing the video EE4life

If only they will be sport rather than only looking sport. Where's the limited slip diff? Driving on ice and snow is a joke. I want a car that can be driven with confidence in any weather, without giving up mpg to all wheel drive.
Otherwise, I love this car

I believe that is coming with the FMC. Right now my guess is they are focused on trying to make-up for the initial low-sales (and overstock of parts inventory) and rebuild the brand image. The initial releases of the ILX (and RLX for that matter) were dismal. And in product management, if your specific product doesn't sell well, you're budget and funding to do more is limited until the company can get closer to recouping it's initial investments in the product. My guess is that's why we're seeing them ride this chassi/model for another 1-2 years with a second MMC, versus a FMC, just like they're doing with the RLX.

The ILX and RLX have been Acura's biggest duds since their initial release in 2013. So there's some catching up to do and probably alot of parts inventory to build more of these models, based on customer demand.

I'm also wondering if they are also trying to get all the various vehicles aligned in terms of new releases so that they can close the gap that existed between various models in the lineup when it came to releasing new features, etc. If you want to do it right, there should be feature parity across the lineup with as little gap as possible. Not the 2yr+ gap we would see sometimes when one vehicle would get new tech versus another. My gut says they want to try and have the new "Acura" design of the RDX to be released across the brand lineup as close as possible to each other. This is another example of trying to build brand consistency across fhe product lineup.
