What shoes do you use for your workouts?

Figured I'd start a thread about this topic as theres so many different options.

Running: Hoko One One- best running shoes I've ever used.

Lifting: Chuck Taylors - cheap & durable.

anyone else?

No running shoes, but I have a pair of Nike trainers for lifting. I initially got it because it had extra padding in the sole. However now I'm not a fan of the raised heel.

on a whim, bought a pair of Asic "cross fit" type shoe... the gel-fortious TR and I REALLY love it for the type of workouts i perform....which are crossfit type lifts/olympic lifts
wish they were more stylish, but perform wonderfully

will buy their version 2 of the shoe in the future.

I use the Asics Gel Quantum 180 for P90x/x3. Very comfortable and fairly light with decent support (for me) for doing Plyo/Kenpo/etc..

when I was cross training I had the rebook crossfit pumps, solid shoe, flat sole which I like for training, however the pump feature was a gimmick (which I kinda figured)

Newtons for running and Inov-8 has some excellent shoes for lifting.

Mizuno.

Tried a pair a few years ago and never looked back. Lightweight and last forever.

For squats and any other fitness I just use my old Nike crosstraining shoes. I get better flexibility on my squats. For deadlifts I prefer a flat shoe so I use my Chucks.
