I know what you mean though. Wish I knew more about weight loss to help you out.

Have you been drinking water consistently? We sometimes "forget" to drink water in our day to day basis.

Pretty consistently, but not enough I think. I think I was at 5 glasses a day, so 40oz.

miz... i've only lost around 4-5 inches of waist with 50 lbs. of weight loss.

i went from a tight 36-38 to a nice fitting 32 over 8 months.

the small amount of weight loss is strange though considering how grueling the workout is cardio-wise.

Late bump to the thread...doing Insanity myself...on day 12, and its pretty vicious. I thought the P90x Plyo workout was hard, but its nothing compared to this system.

Havent seen any weight loss yet, but eating healthy, feeling stronger, and have a lot more energy

I'd say I'm average, but I guess that's what they all say

I'm strong, and used to work out a lot, but ate garbage. Yep I'm doing the elite 5 meal diet thing as well, and it sucks :P

^ Haha it's OK man. Glad you figured out the "riddle", haha.

If you're just starting this, I don't recommend jumping in to Pure Cardio or Max Cardio. I'll tell ya, the warm up, yes the mother effin warm up, will kick your ass.

just got back into this again, well i started 3 weeks ago, but stupid events prevented me from working out consistently, so i decided to just start over.

going to really try even harder and try to have a much better diet this time.

no longer doing this program, but it was definitely my gateway into a healthier lifestyle with the dieting and now working out at the gym 4-5 days a week.

i dont forsee needing to go through it again, but i suggest it to anybody that is tryint to cut body fat. its just a great way to shed the lbs. and shed them quick.

but as i've said before, im not a fan of the shape that it tends to give people after multiple rounds.. they get an almost unnatural look to them.

but post those results guys/girls!

i think its fine as long as you pair it up with other forms of workouts.

i know a good bit of people that mix their weeks up with 2-3 gym visits and 1-2 p90/insanity.. works well for them.

so how many of you on those days where it shows both pure cardio & cardio abs and max cardio conditioning & insane abs on the same day do it at the same time? or do you do one work out say in the morning and the other a few hours later or in the evening?

by the time i get to the ab workouts im already dead tired!

I was looking at all the videos and saw they had one for lifting weights but it's not in the calendar. When do you do that one?

Sooo I think I pulled my back doing this about 2.5 weeks ago - haven't done it since. I didn't notice hurting it while doing the workout, but I woke up in a lot of pain one day. It was bearable, but getting in and out of cars/bed was the worst. This was really disappointing, because I was enjoying the intense workout! I always tried to focus on my core to protect my back, but it's possible I just pushed too hard one day and pulled it. Anyone else have any injuries?

I'm finally starting to feel better, but still taking it easy. I'm literally freaking out because of all the extra energy I have from not working out. I do yoga 2-3x a week, but I need to get my heart going! I don't think I'll be coming back to insanity any time soon though . :RIP:

I pulled my back too after a long break. I believe you're getting back pain because you're not in shape. Because after I kept doing the program on a regular basis, I never had any back pains again (specifically lower back pains).

Other injuries I had were extreme tightness in all parts of my legs. I could not walk up or down any stairs. If I do, I look like a damn grandpa hugging the railings. Again, that was when I first started out after an extremely long break and jumping straight into pure cardio .

even if you reach your breaking point on a daily basis and dont finish the full 30-45 minutes, you are still getting a hell of a workout, still worth it in my opinion.

Yea there are times when I can't do everything that they do and I won't feel bad taking a break because I know I'm just getting an ass kicking!

^ Mines is too, but has improved markedly after working out. I dont care for Insanity though. I'm a P90X/Turbofire kind of guy.

well since i dont have my own progress thread, i'll just update this one from time to time.

and its somewhat relative to the thread since i did START my workout kick with insanity.

this is from day one to last weekend.
still having trouble with the mid-lower ab region even with strict dieting.

i've started to see some better results with increased amounts of running though.

I got 2 weeks left and no where near where I want to be. Got the fit test today so I'll see what my progress is in terms of measurements and endurance. But weight wise, it's not budging

Gonna do another round of Insanity after this.

Considering doing P90X, but i don't have weights or a spot for a pull up bar/place to attach the rubber bands in my garage
