Hey guys,
I have a 2012 Acura TL and I purchased a set of MDX Jewel eye headlights
(here is a photo of one housing)




I am looking to retrofit the jewel eyes into my TL housing like this guy did.








I unfortunately do not have the skill to pull of a job like this or the knowledge of automotive electronics. My only other option, which is not cost effective nor is it convenient, would be to buy new housings ship out the lights and have them retrofitted and sent back to me to be installed. I would prefer not to do this.

I am looking for someone that has retrofitting skill and preferably in Connecticut (I live in Wallingford).
If someone feels they can pull of this job or knows someone or place that can I would greatly appreciate it.

I understand a custom job like this takes a lot of time and skill, so I am willing to pay generously for the labor hours required to do this project.

Hey bro, did anyone ever reply to your thread? I have the exact same desire for my 2012 TL. its wite like in the pic...That would look so sweet. I am in California. I would be willing to have it done some place else and have it shipped back to me for install here. Any leads you may have gotten from your thread please share them. If you did your headlights, upload the pics, id love to see them!

I doubt you will find a retrofitter for ANY headlight mod in CT, let alone the jewel eye conversion.

Best bet is to take a drive down to NJ to see Bruce of EndlessRPM. I know that isn't exactly close by but at least we are lucky enough to be a driving distance away. He's a good guy, does a good job and knows Acura TLs inside out. Try him out.

The only other option is to mail your headlights out somewhere. But this is definitely a MAJOR mod and you can expect it take possibly weeks to completion. You will definitely need to purchase a 2nd pair of headlights if you need to use your car in the interim. So consider the breakdown /assembly for all that! I know you are considering a generous budget for this but that is a lot of labor in itself and hardly cost effective. This is definitely a mod meant for a DIYer.
