Hello,

I just had my battery replaced so then it wiped out the radio/clock. etc. I have the code, but when I turn on the car it doesn't show "CODE" or "Enter code" or anything like that. Do I possibly need to reset a fuse? If so, which one?
Any help you could give would be great!

I have a 2009 Acura TSx, regular radio, not a navigation system.

Don't you have to push the power button on the radio for it to ask for the code?

Yes - you do. Hit the power button, radio will recognize lost power and will enter security mode and display "CODE" on the display. Enter the code via the radio preset buttons and it should unlock the radio for normal use.

Thanks for all of your recommendations, however, still not working.

I unhooked the battery again. I turned on the car as far as "accessory." I also hit the power button but it did not show "CODE" at all in the display.

Any other recommendations, anyone?

Could be a fuse. I did some searching and came up with - "In the fuse box under the dash fuses 15 and 18 both power the audio unit." I don't own a TSX so I can't confirm if this is correct or not but there may be other members here that can. You can pull those fuses and check them and or simply replace them and see what happens.
Does the radio light up like the rest of the dashboard when you turn on the headlights? Just trying to figure out if the radio is getting power at all......

Embarrassed to say that I may have been hitting the wrong button to turn on the radio in the first place!!! My brother gets in the car and hits the volume button, which is apparently the on button for the radio. I thought I hit that one too, but this time it decides to work.

Anyways, all is well and radio is working! Sorry for the mishap!

Laughing my ass off, similar story in my case. When I disconnected my battery and the radio prompt me to enter the code and I kept on pressing the numbers on the radio but wouldn't let me until I pressed the power button then I entered the code then all was well.

I know. I mean, I've never really turned my radio off so how would I know? lol

Was wondering about that. I turn everything off before I turn the car off. Just a habit I got into years ago so as to lighten the load on the battery during startup. Today's electronics probably prevent all that draw from happening until the engine starts, but it's just the habit/routine I have had forever.

I did the exact same thing just two days ago. But I ended up calling the local dealer when it wouldn't take, and he said are you sure you have the radio on?
