Anyone riding on Michelin's new Pilot Sport 4S?

Michelin's Pilot Sport 4S UHP tires are getting some great reviews on online tire sites. And a big box warehouse club is offering a screaming deal with $70 off (seasonal and standard Michelin discount) and just $.01 install fee per tire.

I want to upgrade from my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. They have about 27k miles on them, but are already at 3/32" wear. They are supposed to be good for 40k.

4S Positives (from online reviews and Michelin propaganda)
- Extraordinary dry and wet grip
- Great ride quality
- Low NVH
- AA traction and A temp grades
- Better treadlife than the Pilot Super Sport (which it sort of replaces in the Michelin line-up)

4S Negatives
- Just 30,000 miles treadwear warranty
- Only 9.5/32" tire depth (most tires are 10" or more)
- Strictly 3 season only. And so not practical for many parts of the country unless you switch out to winter tires. (Not an issue for me.)

Here is what Michelin says about the temp restriction:

Note: Tires exposed to temperatures of 20 degrees F (-7 degrees C) or lower must be permitted to gradually return to temperatures of at least 40 degrees F (5 degrees C) for at least 24 hours before they are flexed in any manner, such as by adjusting inflation pressures, mounting them on wheels or using them to support, roll or drive a vehicle.

Flexing of the specialized rubber compounds used in Max Performance Summer tires during cold-weather use can result in irreversible compound cracking. Compound cracking is not a warrantable condition because it occurs as the result of improper use or storage, tires exhibiting compound cracking must be replaced.

Please tell me your experience so far. And if sticking with the A/S3+ model would be a better all-around deal with longer treadlife and a savings of about $120.

Post pictures when you get a chance. My BBS CHs are the same size and similar offset (ET38) and so this should help determine my tire choice.

pics will come soon; need to take the time to make them worth sharing (read need to wash the car). I will say this, the offset is pleasantly aggressive, yet not overdone. +38 will also look great, as we are splitting hairs at that point. What I am unable to chime in upon is clearance if the vehicle is lowered, as I am at stock ride height.
