If the door handle's going to be moving then you need a different place for the keyhole.

On my Sport Hybrid, the door handle as a small extension that doesn't move, just for the keyhole.

You don't have to use keys very much anymore, and it's always going to be a risk of paint scratching.

If the battery dies, you need the key If you store the car and disconnect the battery, you still need the key We went to the moon and came back and still use keys.

Thanks for the pics Bob!

PS. in the other thread, that good looking Ford girl in white... name, phone number, facebook etc? LOL.

I was actually thinking its completely out of place on such a high end and should be keyless.

Any info on the bolt pattern and offset? From the pics it looks like x120 33 but not sure.

Hope they follow Ford's lead and at least offer carbon fiber wheels as an option. If someone can blow $150k on a car, I am sure another $10-$20k won't hurt them.

.....if I sell my S2000 and CTS-V, I'm only $85k away from owning a new NSX. Am I crazy for actually considering this?

I don't know. I feel the same way.

I got the Sport Hybrid because the dealer called me.

"You told me to let you know if we ever got a Sport Hybrid. We're unloading it right now."

My fear is that he does the same thing with the first NSX Advance.

Nope, not getting rid of the S2000 just yet. With my luck, as soon as it drives away that last time, I'd make a deal to get it back.

More like wait a few more years and get a NA2 at a better price. Owning a NSX has been on my bucket list for almost ten years now. Just have to get my son through school and into/out of college first....so about 12 more years before my NSX dream can happen.

Exclamation

The Canadian debut is next week at the Toronto car show February 13-16. Can't wait to go see it up close. Looking at the show floor map, Acura and Honda are in the same area between Chrysler and Subaru, like last year.

Acura to Showcase Production NSX and Refreshed RDX at 2015 Canadian International Auto Show

Other debuts in Toronto here: CIAS 2015 - Premieres

Nothing to write home about the other premiers, really. Sadly, no new GT40 in Toronto this year.

Ford GT is in. The exact same car from the Detroit show, folks in Chicago got to see one in new color though.

Thanks! I am heading out there tomorrow.

(Ford officially only entered the GT350R for the show, oh well, typical Ford... )

Sadly, the NSX was in a box en route to Geneva Switzerland by the time I got to the Toronto Car Show. It was shipped out Monday. The marketing people just had it in Toronto for 4 out of the 15 days of the car show. One more bait-and-switch Acura? Doh!

Oh well, at least seeing the new Ford GT40 made up for the trip to Toronto (not to mention the army of 6 foot tall blondies at the Audi booth, and of course the cuties in those white tight dresses at the Fiat booth - lol). So, other than the Ford display and some unrealistic concepts from all kinds of manufacturers, the rest of the show is total blah.

I protest moving the NSX to Geneva so soon. The Swish could wait for a week or so. Its not like they know what they are looking at, as usual (oh now I am bad!).

I guess you are one of the lucky ones. I was thinking of going Saturday but then remembered last year's crazy weekend crowds and didn't, oh well.

^ Well, at least the RLXh was there and unlocked, for everyone to get in and see up close. Instruments in "Demo Mode"

... so for a mere $23 I got the chance to see how the other half lives

Some paid even less, like the CAA members for example.

I bought the early bird tickets 2 months in advance. 17 bucks each.
