Cars that drive like TSX

hello good people,
I am a proud owner of 2nd Gen TSX(2009 Base)
absolutely love my car. My car now has 190k miles and i am coming across small problems.
Like wheel bearing replacement. leather peeling from driver side door handle and other small issues.
nothing major.
Anyways, i am in need of a new car, i would like to keep this car and possibly buy another car and i am trying to figure out what cars actually drive like TSX.
the stiff steering, quick pick and road control.
TL or maybe ILX? even lexus?
Please help me, i am so tempted to buy another TSX, but with a backup camera or do i have better options?

thanks

Hmmm, I've driven both and they feel exactly the same size.

Edit: I just looked up the stats, and the two cars are nearly identical in all interior stats with the slight edge going to the GTI in length and height (i.e. leg room and head room) and a slight edge going the TSX in width (i.e. shoulder and hip room).

Get a TLX and stiffen the chassis up a little and you are about as close as you can get. I'd love to get another Audi, but they are kind of expensive, especially maintanence.

Im no scientist but something tells me that if you really like your 09 base TSX and want something very similar with a backup camera then you should consider a newer, lower mileage TSX with tech package.

RWD BMW 328 does drive much better than TSX but keeping it to over 100K miles is risky.
Lexus GS also drives better than TSX and should be reliable but probably costs two times what a typical TSX costs.

Mazda 6 has better steering and now with a turbo engine is also fast. Would not bet on reliability of Mazda though.

So, as someone already suggested the new Accord is probably the best bet.

Actually the successor for TSX 4 cyl is probably a 4 cyl TLX with A Spec package.
I drove SH-AWD A speclasr year and liked it a lot. I've never driven the 4 cyl A Spec. It is new for 2019.
I would try that one before going to Honda. Acura is still a premium brand with all benefits that come with it.

BTW, 2013 and new Lexus GS is anything but boring especially in the F Sport form. It is/was the best handling sedan in it's class with the proper driving wheels.
It is expensive though. A 3 year old L-certified GS 350 F Sport costs the same as a new Accord or Mazda 6.

Very similar situation as you but I’ve decided to wait until next spring. But if I would to buy right now I’d buy an A 4. Great tech. Rides great. And very similar in size.

For something similar, I'd consider Mazda 6, Accord, or perhaps TLX 2.4. All of them would actually be upgrades in some respects, but they're also larger so they might not handle as well. The Mazda supposedly has the best handling, and you can even get MT in the lowest trim. If I wanted a car that large, I'd look at the Mazda and Accord first, but I'm more likely to go with a Civic Si or another sport compact. I love the TSX, but would prefer something smaller.
