Hopefully much improved on Forza 5 because that game sucks.

Forza 2 Horizon is money though.

Maybe this one won't be Forza Motorsport 3.9 like FM5 was.

Yeah the upgrade over Forza 4 was not that big. I do hope they add more F1 cars over just the Lotus. That thing was fun to drive.

T10 annouced today...

Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion
Porsche is coming to Forza Horizon 2! Arriving on June 9 exclusively in Forza Horizon 2 for Xbox One, the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion will bring ten amazing Porsche models for the first time to an Xbox One Forza game. With Porsche models like the 1989 944 Turbo, the 2003 Carrera GT, and the 2014 911 GT3 RS 4.0, the Porsche Expansion Pack will give fans the chance to explore southern Europe in some of the legendary German manufacturer's most beloved cars.

Bringing Porsche to Forza Horizon 2 is fantastic news for Xbox fans and, even better, it's just the start! The Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion is the result of an agreement between Porsche, EA, and Xbox to bring the Porsche experience to all Xbox One players. In addition to the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion, this agreement also includes adding Porsche models to Forza Motorsport 6. We will have more details to share in the future on this integration.

In addition to an amazing field of cars, the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion will include 10 new Bucket List Porsche-themed Bucket List events in Forza Horizon 2, 10 exclusive Porsche Rivals events, and 15 achievements worth a total of 500 Gamerscore points on Xbox Live.

The full car list for the Porsche Expansion Pack for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One:

· 2003 Porsche Carrera GT
· 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo
· 1987 Porsche 959
· 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3
· 1970 Porsche 914/6
· 2015 Porsche Cayman GTS
· 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 (997)
· 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S
· 2014 Porsche 918 Spyder
· 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo

I could give a shit less about FH2 cars (not paying $10 for ten cars) but this section is what makes me happy;
In addition to the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Expansion, this agreement also includes adding Porsche models to Forza Motorsport 6.

PERCHES!

They have also said there will be night and rain racing in FM6 as well.

I've got the FM6 controller in transit, but I think I'll hold off on the game for a bit. I completely skipped 5 (or, rather, I think I'll 'rent' it from Gamestop in a week or so and get my tier credits).

So, no one else is playing right now? Definitely a giant improvement over 5.

Wasn't a fan of 5 very much, played the Forza 6 demo and thought it was terrible. Whatever I drove was like driving on ice, cars have no grip and it just isn't fun to play.

And I thought I just sucked! Coming from playing others such as Horizon 2 and FM4 without assists on I never had much trouble controlling my car through turns, but FM6 is just bad lol. The lack of handling and control I have over the cars, I agree, takes away from the excitement. Did you expect more from the graphics, like I did?

Agreed. This is the main reason why I have kind of shifted away from the Forza Motorsports series and towards the Horizon series. I loved FM4, but 5 was meh and the demo for 6 felt similar.

Got a deal for a $100 Xbox GC for $85, so I jumped on it and got the Ultimate edition. Enjoying it thus far, night and weather should have been added years ago.

I like it but there's not much to rave over. Forza 4 is still the best IMO.

As some of you may know, my brother is the Prez of Watkins Glen. Microsoft came out there and ran a vehicle around the track with a bunch of cameras mounted to a vehicle on arms that recorded every nuance in the track. This even included strips of tar down in turn 6 my brother used to line up the pace car when he was trying to hit the apex just right. We were playing the game Thanksgiving and you could clearly see the details he knew so well, pretty cool. Guess what I gotta buy now! lol

Well I was saving up some money. I was going to buy a GT-R but decided to be smart and put the money towards a house instead. So now I own my first home but I did treat myself to this setup to have some fun with:

d8WPH5K.jpg

It is a ton of fun to play Forza on hehe. On topic I have been enjoying Forza 6 quite a bit. One of the things that annoys me though is that using mods creates dirty lap times even if the mod has no affect on performance! I just want to earn my extra 20% credits...I guess I shouldn't worry too much though I think I am up to 27mil in game credits already lol

Oh and hi Tyler! (prob only person who will see this that remembers me lol)

Thanks man. It was pretty stressful purchasing a house by myself. Happy that I made this decision although the GT-R would have been fun lol. I might still get one it will just have to wait a few years. I saw the new NSX at the LA auto show the other day though it looks pretty damn sexy.

Get one! After I got this I was like why didn't I buy this sooner lol

The Playseat challenge is only $250 and is a great starter seat. Plus it folds up for storage if you don't want a giant sim rig as a permanent fixture in the middle of your room.

The wheel I picked up was the Thrustmaster 458 Italia kit (TX hub). I have gone a bit overboard now and added on the GTE wheel, Pro pedals and gated shifter. The base kit was still very good though and actually works better with the playseat challenge. The pro pedals don't fold up as easily as the normal ones did. Also I had to fabricate a mount to get the shifter to work which was a huge pain. (6 hours of drilling and cutting as well as multiple trips to home depot trying to find parts that would work haha)

I'll be honest, I'm a casual gamer, so I play Horizon 2 at times. The controls are just so much easier. I played Forza 5, but haven't gotten in to Forza 6.

I play when I have time. However, I don't know how to use XB (or PS) controllers, so I use a steering wheel and pedals to play Forza on my XBO. I hope the new NSX makes an appearance at some point in the future.

So stoked to see that the Forza franchise has made it to PC.

Recently downloaded the new Apex Beta that came out early this week, game is extremely satisfying especially with all the driving nannies off.

I nearly got exited then realized it's on that weird games for windows platform thing. I mean who would want to change graphics options on a PC right?

Huh?

Sure, it runs through Xbox live & the Windows 10 App store, but it doesn't really impede on the game experience at all.

It's a beta ,

I'm sure wheel support & 4K resolutions will be available in the full version.

I have been wanting Forza on PC forever and this is a good start. Apex still needs a ton of work and hopefully they release a full version at some point. For now I will keep playing 6 on the Xbone.

I am excited that they are finally making this transition to PC and I hope it is successful because I love the Forza titles. Ideally I would like a Forza game on PC where I can keep all my cars I have and just buy more and more cars as they are released. Instead of having to purchase a new game and then repurchase all the cars, both in game and through the DLC. As much as I love Forza 6 it sucks that it is missing cars from the older titles. With the PC platform my space is unlimited and hopefully someday I can have a virtual garage with thousands of cars instead of the 500 I am currently limited to.

Also wanted to add they actually fixed my complaint about the mods causing dirty lap times. Pretty happy about that! I have been able to set some reasonably fast times with the wheel now. Even though all the fastest players on the leaderboard use controllers I cannot go back to it. The wheel is just so much more immersive.

I went ahead and preordered the digital Ultimate edition for $99.99

So many free cars, plus I am tier 9 in Forza rewards so even more free cars lol

If you are only playing on Xbox you can get the physical disc Ultimate edition for $79 in the MS store.

Also if you have Amazon prime you can get 20% off on preorders and get the Ultimate edition for $79.
