oil catch can - trying to make one
First, Thanks as usual to JTso for this.
I notice way more smells in my TSX than my other cars, so I'm hoping that an oil catch can will prevent at least some of the oil smell I get in the cabin from time to time. Anyway, I decided I'd give it a shot.
I found the Husky micro filters at Home Depot (look in the pnuematic tools section if you're looking people... I found both his 'v1' and 'v2' filters, went with smaller v1 myself) and appropriate nipples. (what a dirty word... nipples) Anyway, all i couldn't find was PCV hose.
So I went to Advance auto-parts (where service is a foreign language) and they didn't even know what I was talking about. I ended up buying some 3/8" fuel lines because it looked like the right size and similar product (and cheap if its the wrong thing).
Before I try to put this on with these, can anyone tell me that it will or won't work, or that I really shouldn't use fuel line hose for some reason?
Thanks.

Yeah I would rather just buy a Greddy or Cusco catch can. I have one question though. Why don't you have your catch line running from the breather nozzle on the head to the catch can then from the catch can to the intake? I think that the most of the oil and blow by gas would exit from the head. I know that this is how I hooked catch cans up on other setups.

So today I've found two Coils plug down. As my car will be at the garage some days waiting for parts I've decided to give it a little clean in the intake manifold.
I've found a big pile of gunk on their walls :s. Maybe all the oil from is 290000KM is laying there .
So is there any problem to put two oil catch cans on there? One on the PCV valve and the other on the valve cover breather?
Thanks
