buying a used hondata TSX?

I am looking at buying a 2006 TSX Manual transmission ECU Hondata Reflashed for a 2006 TSX Manual Transmission, to verify, i will still have to get the immobilizer reset but I can do this?

the dealership or an expensive scan tool akin to the HDS (honda diagnostic system )

so in summary I will be fine buying the ECU, I just have different options to reset the immobilizer?

should be fine with the ecu. I can probably help you with immobilizer programming if your are in the US. Just wonder are you going to just do bolt-on or do you have bigger plans? Might be worth it to get a full hondata instead of just a reflash, but it really depends on your goals.

I am in NJ and worried about downtime.

Not even going to do bolts on probably, only mod to engine i expect to do is the hondata intake maniford gasket as well.

Car has 166k on it this is as much as an investment as I should make i think in performance engine wise

what is the reflash set for? Hondata has different programs that load in depending if you have an intake, headers, exhaust, and etc. for the reflash

I was under the impression that unless you paid them extra they gave you a basic tune. Is this not correct?

Yes the Hondata is a far better fit, I've had tec 3 full standalone before and don't have the complexity to warrant it
