Power Folding Mirror

ok so since someone stole my car and the insurance didn't cover it, i have to fix it up myself. I replaced both driver side doors, but i left my power folding mirror (it was busted) on the old door. I forgot that the motor still worked in the mirror so now i have to find another one.

Does anyone have an extra or a spare laying around that they would like to sell me?

I'm in the process (slow process) of fixing it up so i can sell it and buy either an RL or a Porsche Boxster.

If you can wait, then yes.

~Cheers~

P.S. You'll have to paint them, though.

I still have mine somewhere. Were you still interested in the interior?

so... if you install power folding mirrors, you lose the heating option? Or can you have both?

You can have both by swapping the glass, but they'll have to be either heated all the time or you'll have to run an extra switch. My set is missing the relay that times the folding, though. That's how I bought it.

For those who want to do a power mirror conversion and combine heated mirrors... get ready for a challenge...
1. the TOP mirror is from a JDM power folding mirror (no heat). As you can see it is a motor that takes up 2/3 of the housing plus another motor to maneuver the mirror itself.
2. the Bottom mirror is a USDM heated mirror (no power folding). Just a small motor to maneuver the mirror itself and off to the right the wiring to the heated mirror.
***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
For those who did a modification, how did you combine the two? Separating the motor from the mirror is definitely out the question.
Myself, I plan on using a heat gun and taking out the actual mirror and drilling/cutting a hole to thread the heated wiring on the JDM power folding mirrors.
