Can u swap an 02 TL type S v-tec engine into a 96 Acura TL
Hey fellow members I'm kinda new to this whole performance and modifying car thing and I was wondering if I could swap an 02 Acura TL type-S v-tec engine into my stock 1996 Acura TL with the 2.5 engine???? Please help me know if this can be done and if anyone has done it I'd like to know if its worth it or what is a good engine swap to do for this 1996 Acura TL???? Well I hope someone can help me out on this and thanks for reading

None that I've heard of been done before. These engines are longitudinally mounted FWD and will require major modifications, which I don't think will be worth it. You'd be better off getting another car or a 3.2 version and swap in a 3.5 like Go90go did if you like this platform.

plus it will still be a slow family car no matter what you put in it. if your gonna waste a ton of loot then turbo it. and it will still not handle the power well as the chassis wasnt designed to handle high HP. and not to mention the handling will probly not be fantastic either. enjoy the car for what it is instead of wasting a ton of cash trying to make it something its never going to be. $0.02
