You're preaching to the choir on that one. I've been advising him to at least pick up a pair of R-compounds but, that recommendation has thus far fallen on deaf ears. I guess it's just not a 'glamorous mod' to him.

It's just common sense. You ask what a TL runs in the middle of a timeslip thread. What can I say, work gets boring sometimes.

They usually run very low 15s out of the box. With an intake high 14s. With every single bolt on, around low 14s maybe 14.0 or high 13s under optimal conditions.

As I hate cars was saying, it's timeslip thread... Read it

damn, that's pretty fast... but only headers, intake and exhaust? And IIRC correctly aren't the exhaust manifolds on the 3G cast into the block? something's up. Definitely doesn't sound like just intake + exhaust. I don't know but it is pretty impressive.

oh and sorry but that blown Camaro stole the show sweet Jesus that thing sounded bad.

Wow!! Very impressive. The TL sounds sick!!

But like I Go To Costco says, it doesn't sound like it only has those mods, has to be something else in there??

13.6@102 N/A...that's quick, a little too quick with just intake/exhaust/header.

102mph is what one of the supercharged guys trapped (without a launch)

Other than the header part it's believable. Some 6MT's are hitting 100 mph stock, you also have to figure the car is setup properly with deticated rims, tires (maybe drags) and suspension, half of the improved time is from that alone.

I/H/E LOL. Forgot to mention the 65 shot. Nice times for sure. 13.6 @102 is pretty feasible with I/H/E and a good launch, a great time too. That's the exact ET and trap I expect when I go back with I/E/Jpipe. So he may have some competition

Alex, I trapped 101 with just I/Jpipe so the 102 is spot on with those mods. S/C TLs trap in the 106-107 range. Idk what no launch counts as but 102 is much too slow for a S/C TL.

Very true, any exhaust piece that comes off the cylinder head I call a HEADER, these cars do have a funky cylinder heads, tire setup was a road race tire
mods are:
custom exhaust
Intake
crank pulley
header and down pipe
and reworked lower intake plenums.

Yeah, "Header" means pre-cat deletes. Still 13.6 is pretty stout for a 3.2 NA and limited mods.

regardless very nice times . .

Yes, 13.6 is still a great time. There are a few more mods than we thought tho...I/E/PC/Crank pulley/reworked plenum. Nonetheless good times

Excellent times. How'd you pull a 2.05 60' on street tires? The base 6MT is certainly capable of 13.6-13.7 without F/I. OMP Prelude ran 13.70 @ 101 and change.

Looks like this is legit! Your right, I just looked back at the supercharged times and they are a little bit higher.

I can't wait to get my engine mods done already, it's been a long time coming We have to post some better numbers before winter sets, Sonnick! Well your time is awesome but I know your not satisfied till you hit the 13's

13.39? How did you manage that? I'm gonna need to see some timeslips for that ET. Not saying I don't believe you, but that is almost too good to be true until I see a slip! But damn, how do you launch? What do you mean by 'road racing' tires? Drag radials? I saw you heating 'em up and usually you don't heat up street tires, only DR's. And what are your exact mods?
