Acura RL 2008 GBP Rotrex 3.5 Build

Fellas,

Would it be possible?

There is no tuning software for it, but it’s essentially a TL Type S but
with a more aggressive cam.

Would using a TL-S ECU and wiring Harness and Hondata work with Andy’s Rotrex Supercharger? If so it could safely make more than 515WHP. It’s got paddle shifters.

It would be a turbolag(less) S600 with 200hp more. It would weight
more than 1000LBS less and be just as luxurious. It would have SH-AWD and be much more reliable while being to find interchangeable TL parts of the cheap.

the RL suspension is stiffer aswell.

Interesting project idea.

Contact KTuner, they may be willing to help! We're going to fiddle with my RL, though mine is a 2011 so there are obvious differences.

How much is the custom ECU from vits?

I will contact tuner and Hondata. It shouldn’t be difficult to get tuning capability for what is mechanically a 07-08 TL Type-S?

Contacted Hondata and Ktuner. The MoTeC ECU is 2.5k.. dont think I can justify that much for engine management.
