Actual Brembo Calipers for 3rd G TL
I have a TL S 07, and I know that they already come with Brembos, but I want my calipers to be red and actually say Brembo. Ive been lookin every where and have been lookin up what stores carry them for the TL. Cant seem to find any. And body know where I can find them at?

There are any number of companies which can make yours red and the Brembo decals can be had from E-Bay and other sources.

Burning Brakes
Prep and paint the calipers, put a brembo sticker on the caliper, and clear over the sticker and paint. It will make for a fun side project look up some youtube videos on painting calipers.

These guys speak the truth. If you want to be thorough, remove the calipers, drain the brake fluid, sand every nook and cranny on the calipers, tape off anything you have to, and spray paint. Do plenty of thin coats to avoid paint runs. Let dry. Apply decal (I ordered some brembo decals off ebay for a couple bucks... just be sure what size you want), then spray on the clear coat and let that cure. Once done, install the calipers back, bleed the brake system, and voila.
Alternatively, the less thorough but quicker method is to paint the calipers in place. Tape EVERYTHING off that you don't want getting painted, including the fender of the car. Then paint. The only difference doing it this way is that you wont necessarily do a complete paint job, especially on the back side of the caliper. But... no one really looks in there, unless the car is maybe on a hoist, so it's up to you on how much effort you want to put in.
The other nice thing is... you can choose whatever color you want. Gold? Silver? Bronze? Red? Blue? Yellow? Copper? White? They've all been done on AZ for our cars!

I suppose another approach would be to buy a new set of naked calipers from RockAuto and have them prepped before you get the wheels off; in this way the job will be much quicker.

Doing it yourself will cost you about $20.
You can alternatively have them powder coated... much more expensive, but still cost effective and will likely net you the best looking results. You'll have to remove the calipers though. Powder coating depends on what region your in- prices can vary. I'd imagine for 2 calipers it could be $100-150 to powder coat.
Or... you can spend $3000 and buy a brembo big brake kit.
The choice is yours

Yes, this is true also. I have no idea what rebuilt calipers form RA go for though. It is definitely an option. Problem is, you might be left with an extra pair of calipers afterwards.. not sure how often people buy them on the used market.

There was a thread here maybe six months ago which highlighted a sale Rock Auto was having on these calipers; if I recall correctly, remanufactured, but otherwise raw metal, calipers were only about $60 per side.

oh wow, that's not bad at all. At that price, it might be worth looking into... though I'm always wary of aftermarket parts when it comes to Honda/Acura. In my experience, the OEM parts seem to pretty much always be better than anything aftermarket. Yes, they are extremely pricey, but it seems you get what you pay for.
That being said, a rebuild kit for the calipers is rather cheap also. Personally, I'd scoop the rebuilt calipers for 60 each... and then I'd rebuild them again myself using oem seals and what not

Even easier and cheaper is to vinyl wrap them and then apply a "Brembo" decal. 3M makes some nice high temp wrap specifically for doing calipers:

I ran across a place that does a very nice job of servicing TL calipers and will powder coat them any color and add the Brembo decal, and I thought of this thread...

Actually, it's not when you consider that the kit comes with calipers. The modification service IS expensive at $650,

From my perspective, two, maybe three-hundred dollars is what I'd spend to have my calipers powercoated; twice that is a non-starter.

I would still contact them and ask if they do just a refurbish service.
Here is a pic from their gallery that looks quite nice:

I emailed Vision Autoworks and was quoted $250 to rebuild the calipers and re-coat them Brembo Red with the Brembo decal.
I'll probably do this for the calipers on my TSX.
