well i think that is too many miles to put after market springs on but i could be wrong. i had H&R sport springs on my 00tl which had about 160k but the shocks were changed on that car at about 135K.

One of my front shocks started to leak fluid at around 45K Km even with original stock springs on. Shocks are not covered in the Honda extended warranty program. The OEM replacement shock costs as much as the Tokico Illumina, and also shocks have to be replaced in pairs. So that's when I ended up replacing them all with H&R springs and Illumina shocks.

As for what brand? what ever you are willing to spend. KYB has a oem replacement thats not bad (i stuck on my car) thats afforadable. Best would be Bilstien (which im looking into installing on my car this winter)

change shocks and spring at the same time .. H&R sport 50103 = 2 finger gap .. eibach a bit lower .. i have koni yellow&hr sport and love them .. the ride is smooth and they handle great.. they are ajustable too..

I can't tell what you're driving, from your sig or this thread. Well mine is a TL-S, which stock has a firmer suspension than the TL-P. With the H&R sports and stock shocks, it's only a little firmer than stock, which I like.

It seems as though u've already made up ur mind but u may wanna look at it this way. If u go ahead and buy the springs now and in a couple months ur shocks go south (which they most likely will) u'll end up spending as much if not more then a set of full coilovers. So my best advice would be to wait untill u can afford what u want instead of wanting only what u can afford

H&R sport = -1.3 negative camber on rear (on my car) , front = spect.. i have a camber kit but if i had the choice ill not buy one again .. $to install, ajust etc.. not really worth it for -1.3 degre..

I am on H&R Sports 50103 and no camber kits needed, alignment always within spec. Just be sure to rotate tires to all four corners in sequence (if you have non-directional tires). This will give you the most even tire wear.
