22 A-spec stock tires in winter

Historically I've always had a snow tire and a summer tire but since the TLX came with All-Seasons I thought I may try to go through the winter with them. Any opinion on how they are in the winter? I live in central MA so we can sometimes get some pretty nasty stuff from time to time in the winter. Thoughts? I thought I would use these tires up first and then swap to a new set of wheels/summer tire and use the OE wheels for snow tires eventually.

I went through my first winter this year with the stock tires and they were fine. I am looking to winter tires and rims for this season however due to the excessive amount of salt used in snow clearing in our area which will degrade the alloy rims quickly.
I have been receiving conflicting responses for rims however, some say a steel wheel cannot be used some say it can for my Elite/Advanced.

Don't see why you can't run steel wheels if they are the same size as stock.

I downsized to 18 inch rims to save a few buck on rims and tires. Install is next week, then we shall see.

Those Primacy are wicked in the snow! I had them on my 21 Advanced here in CLE and loved them!
