Downpipe

Hey all debating between IMR pipes and FW pipes, wanted to ask y’all’s experience with either and/or any suggestions. Really want to tune with the new Lambda but don’t want to risk any voiding warranty yet, at least not a void that I can somewhat fight back.

recently got some carbon fiber pieces below is a pic of them after install plus all black badges finally ! Did the badges myself were really easy, dropped a couple washers though while doing the front one.

All depends on what you are going for. Full catless, high performance catted on both pipes, catless on secondary w/ High flow or stock primary. There are multiple ways to skin the cat and there are a lot of examples on YouTube from folks who have mixed and matched. A lot of people go with the ATLP catless secondary since its cheap and if you're going catless on the secondary it doesn't really matter because its 3 feet of pretty much straight pipe with a small elbow.

If you want to high flow on both I would roll with FW, they you can get both on heeltoe for 1170 or so. (for this price I would probably just buy a catback instead)

If you just want to go catless on the secondary I would go with the ATLP secondary (By far cheapest and easiest option)

Lastly you could do IMR Catless/catted primary in conjuction with the ATLP catless secondary.

Like I said their are clips on youtube of all three configurations I listed. 3rd option probably loudest, with FW high flow being the second loudest, and ATLP secondary being the third loudest of the three. They all sound good, OEM Primary cat is designed well enough with good enough flow so going catless on the secondary might not be a bad place to start and you could go from there.

I have the IMR primary catless downpipe and ATLP high-flow cat secondary downpipe. Sound is great and there is a noticeable gain in power; how much - I don’t know.

I have the FW single cat downpipe. Didn't want to mess with the 02 sensors and throw CEL codes yet so this was a happy medium. I also put in a boost actuated exhaust cutout at the end of the downpipe to take away any backpressure during boost.
