Here's some noteworthy screen shots for the Type S in full scale wind tunnel testing, surprised to not see tuffs installed, but smoke trails easier to discern when flow goes from laminar to turbulent.

Also good to see they're doing some noise/acoustic transmission analysis. The investment in capital, the wind tunnel, equipment, acoustic arrays is not cheap, shows how dedicated they are with respect to future product development. Traditionally, wind tunnel testing is done with small scale models, adjustments made with Reynolds number, and then validated in full scale/production testing with respect to flight vehicles in aerospace. Guess they do it differently in the automotive industry do it full scale.

Thx for posting, did not know Honda has a rolling floor wind tunnel for their production vehicles. Really impressive testing facility

I would be interested to test a front splitter and some canards to see if it compresses the suspension at all above 100. To see if the downforce will push the car down a mm or two.
