Type S "carbon" trim...
Hey All!
So it's officially been a week since taking home the 2023 Type S! SOOOO glad I did this vs the WAY overpriced Integra Type S that I had originally ordered! I turned in a 2021 TLX Advanced and, well, even though it's the "same car"?? It's not even close to!
And it took just under 12 hours after I took it home to have it well over 400 HP! More on that later....
But the carbon. I wasn't paying over $2000 from our parts dept for my cost on the spoiler and splitter...so did the next best thing, and maybe a better thing? I tracked down some Avery Dennison SW900 black matte carbon wrap. It's one of the most accurate looking out there. And did pretty much anything in gloss black on the exterior in this....so far most of the front is done, roof, spoiler and mirrors next week, and I even did the trim caps behind the door handles on the interior to 'match' the carbon trim inside! That came out sick!
Here are some pics for now with more to come.....
Not doing the under part...this looks good as is!
My detail guy did this without me asking and it came out sick!
This was genius...IMHO!
