Tux Winter Mats

Hi all,

I currently have the Type S oem rubber mats, however, after checking out my neighbors new Tux Mats tonight (rubber liners), I am really impressed with the coverage! Has anyone ever used this brand, and if so, how did they hold up over time?

I am happy with my the oem rubber Type S mats, but there is a lot of exposed carpet area around them. Since I live in the Midwest, I will be dealing with snow and I absolutely hate the salt stains that come with snow and winter.

I am not a WeatherTech fan, and after seeing the amount of coverage on the Tux Mats, I’m pretty impressed!

I know some people really like them, but I think it's hit and miss. I ordered a set but ultimately returned them. I did not like the resulting fit, even with all the tabs to hold the mats in place, it felt a little off to me. It's also got this glossy material on the surface that I wasn't too impressed with.
Given the depth of coverage, it should work well for snowy winters, if the fit holds. You can always order a set and try them out first.

I have Tux mats in my Q5. I really like them so far. The coverage is great, far better than the Audi OEM mats. They're easy to clean and look nice. I've always lived in areas with snow and hate cleaning carpet not covered by OEM mats in the winter. That shouldn't be an issue this winter with the Tux mats.

Family member got some for their VW, they are pretty nice. Fitment is not 100% but pretty good. My only complaint with them was that it made the "kick down Switch" behind the gas pedal feel mushy instead of the positive click you are suppose to get.

I think they are better than the weathertech ones since they are fabric type and won't make sounds echo so much.

Yep, I've had mine in for a week now. I'm a fan of them as well! MUCH better coverage than Weather Tech's!
