TLX Type S Front lip spoiler

Hey all,

Has anyone with a TLX-S had any luck with NOT scratching or damaging their front lip spoiler? I cracked my first one on a parking curb, and now just damaged my second one. No matter how slow I go or what angle I go over speed bumps or uneven pavement, I always seem to scratch. Granted, only the bottom and very front of my spoiler are scratched up (I just ordered some gloss black touch-up paint), but it still really pisses me off. What is the trick to NOT scraping (if there is one)?

Again, not the end of the world, but it still pisses me off.

It happens man, I do a great job of not damaging it (mainly on the count of me backing in most parking spaces) however I had a situation where my Type-S needed to be towed on a flat bed and the towtruck driver cracked my front splitter/spoiler on the metal clasps that secure the tires onto the flat bed. I was livid but the tow company paid for the OEM replacement of a new Front Splitter. So I got a shiny new splitter now and it looks great.

But I urge you to back into your parking spaces since Acura was so asinine to not give Type-S models 360 Cameras. Less issues backing into the space vs pulling in. Also easier to pull away too when leaving haha

I know that the tow company paid for your front spoiler lip, but what did it end up costing to have it replaced and installed?

Does anyone have a part # for the OEM front lip spoiler - 2021 + TLX-S?

Wow, the splitter's really aren't that expensive at all. Makes more sense to just buy a new one then try to touch mine up. I'm assuming they come painted and ready for installation?

Here's the screenshot it wont let me upload the direct image for some reason.

Dealer wanted about $400 for the splitter and almost $300 for labor to install lol

Didn't care since it was at the tow company's cost
