I was at my dealer the other day getting an oil change and quickly looked at the TLX. I looked at one with the Tech package and one with Advance. Are they using different tires on the Tech package vs the Advance? I know the wheels are a different design, but it looked like the tires were different as well? According to Acura's website they are the same, but the advance appeared to be a lower profile tire? Thanks.

Are you sure it was a Tech-Package and not Base?

Tech, A-Spec, and Advance all come with 19-inch wheels.
Tech, A-Spec, and Advance all come with 255/40 tires
Basicaly, all except Base-model have same size rims and tires..

Only difference I saw was that some come with Bridgestone tires, while upper-models came with Michelins. I forget if the Michelins were fitted due to Advance-trim or SH-AWD option.

In a separate thread, a FWD TLX owner said they got Turanza's. I have the Michelin's on my AWD and that is consistent with all reviews and other owners. Seems like FWD vs AWD for the tire difference to me.
