I decided to buy carbon fiber trim parts for my A-spec, but the ambient lighting would not work when I installed it. I know that the carbon fiber piece uses RGB whereas my original piece is straight red (stupid canadian version). Is there any workaround with wiring or adjustments?

Any help would be appreciated.

put the old ones back on and wrap it with dry carbon vinyl. Save $100s and use it on performance

there is three clips holding the light module in (the light module that comes with the carbon fiber trims only works with Type S) just switch the module from the factory trim on to the carbon fiber trim. The lights won’t change like the type S but it will light up just like in the picture. Try not to break the clips they are very flimsy.
