Did you order the center caps and sensors to go with it?

I'll likely order these at some point but fall and winter arent far away so I'm in no rush.

Yep, have those already. Still not sure what I'm going to do with the old wheels. Will either sell them or keep around for winter tires. We don't get hit that hard with snow, but it depends on the year.

Yep, keeping the all seasons. No need to replace them this early. They seem like decent tires so far. Not sure how they'll be in the snow however.

I figure they’ll do the job. I hope they’re at least as good as my 2019 ASPEC tires.

Love the blue car. I’m still impatiently awaiting mine to be repaired at the body shop. Time is dragging. 😭

Car needs washed, but the wheels are on. I also suggest getting the Honda black lug nuts (08W42-TG7-100). They blend in more compared to the chrome ones.

Do you have part numbers for everything I’ll need including the center caps and sensors?

Im looking to order these

Yep.

Center caps: 44732-TGV-A01
TPMS sensors: 42753-T3R-A04

To install the TPMS sensors, I picked this up instead of paying a shop to install them:
Amazon Amazon

Just use some soapy water with dish soap to lube the valve stems. The car auto-learns the sensors and mine picked up the new ones right away.

Thank you sir!

You ordered from AcuraOEMParts? Did the rims come packaged well?

Most of the parts were from there. I actually got the wheels from alldiscountparts.com. Originally had them on order from acuraoemparts, but they cancelled it due them being on backorder.

It looks like they came directly from a distribution center, and they were packaged very well. Foam covering the face of the wheel and extra padding where the wheel met the sides of the box. No issues at all with them.

The shipping is much more expensive from them when compared to AcuraOEM. But I’ll see what I can do. I want to add them to my car sometime in the near future.

Follow Up to Previous Pros/Cons:

While AcuraOEMParts never answers an inquiry, it does promptly process return shipments [without any kind of RMA] and issues credit card refunds quickly. Also, it did not charge any restocking fee.

So, as long as one realizes that you will not receive any kind of help with your order, it is a reputable business.

For those interested in buying the spare tire kit for their TLX, Tirerack is having a closeout sale on the Pirelli 20" spare tire for $95.5, which is almost $130 cheaper than the Continental brand one.

I bought the wheels from AcuraOEMParts on 9/26 and it looks like they shipped it today. Did not expect them to ship so soon. Was worried it would be cancelled since I didn't get any updates after the initial order until today.

Looks like most things are on back order. It sure takes a long time for parts and accessories to catch up with the actual car.

How bad are the reviews? I’m planning to leave the all seasons on but I don’t deal with a ton of snow. Illinois has a few major snowfalls but I work 3 miles from home so it’s not bad.

Pirelli p7

Check out tirerack reviews. 5.5 out of 10 for snow. Read the individual reviews. Some are really scary. Always had michelins for oem tires on my acuras. Bad move for acura to change vendors.

I know you're asking someone else, but I was curious and looked it up too. Here you go: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...RatingsReviews

My TLX came with Michelin Primacy A/S tires and it sounds like those do okay in the snow from the limited amount of info I've found and responses I've gotten here and at another forum.

Generally speaking though, tires that come on cars from the factory tend to be what I (and maybe others) call "OEM grade" that are worse than what's sold to customers at tire shops, even if they're tires of the same brand/name/model whatever. That's been my experience with such tires though, and others I know have experienced the same, but others may say otherwise too. It might vary from brand to brand too.

EDIT: For what it's worth, I had a BMW with Continental ContiProContact tires on it and it did fine in the winter. A good driver can do a lot to make up for a tire's shortcomings, but there a driver can only do so much if the tires are truly bad or not made for the conditions. The Continentals I'm talking about were rated on average at 4.8 in wintry stuff: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...RatingsReviews. These tires actually performed better than a 4.8 in my opinion, but there are many factors to consider in others' experiences too.

Worst "all season" tire I've driven with in the winter were these and their winter/snow performance been rated at an average of 3.3 by reviewers (including a review submitted by me): https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...RatingsReviews
I've complained about these in multiple posts around here already though so I won't subject everyone to that again here, hahah.

Keep in mind that no matter how good it is the factory suspension tuning and/or how advanced it is the torque-vectoring, rear-biased SH-AWD system, it all comes down to the 4 small patches of tire rubber that come in contact with the roads.

So never skimp on tires. Always use the stickiest summer tires for the summer and the best snow tires for the winter.

I was looking at black lug nuts for the wheels. Does anyone know the difference between the Acura ones (08W42-TZ5-200B) vs the Honda ones (08W42-TG7-100)? Really hard to tell if they're the same shade of black or not.

Did you post the wrong part number for Acura? I searched it and they’re silver/chrome and are MDX?

It's 4x5 of them for that price, but I only linked that page to show that the part number is right. It's cheaper from AcuraOEMParts. I ended up ordering them along with the floor mats and trunk tray since I take delivery of the car next week. I feel like the Honda and Acura one are probably the same.

Im not entirely sure about that.

That part number on OEMAcuraParts is for a set of 4 black lug nut locks. It’s not 4x5 lug nuts according to the description.

The ones on OEMAcuraParts are sold per set, but the one from the eStore is sold in 5 sets. It says "Standard Qty.: 5" under the retail price.

I was going to have these installed tomorrow but the 4th one came in and it was damaged. Not sure I want to risk another damaged rim so I may just go through my dealer for the final one. We shall see.

Just need to reach Delray Acura now.

This is a bummer too.

I was set to have these installed on Saturday and then take my car in for the Paint Protection Film and ceramic coating. My car would be complete at that point. Now I have to wait for the rims but I’ll do everything else. The only issue is I will need to go back to the detailer to get the rims ceramic coated at a later date.

I ordered the two rims from my dealer for more than I paid online but I was able to get them installed on Saturday. Car is looking pretty amazing right now. I sold my stock wheels to my buddy at the dealer so it all worked out.

car is currently at the detail shop getting PPF on whole front and Ceramic coating on the paint and wheels.

I've been using Delray Acura(oemacuraparts) to buy parts for years as I'm from South Florida and occasionally drive down there to pick up my orders. Went to buy some stuff I need just now and saw that "acurazine" no longer works for 5% off. Is this just me? Did they change this recently or what because I was still able to use it earlier this year with no issue.

The code doesn’t work anymore. I noticed this when I ordered my wheels.

Damn, rates must have gone up or something. My shipping was only $126 and also included a bunch of other parts too (wheels, tpms, cf interior trim, side spoiler)
