I dropped off my 21 TLX for service this morning and was given a 24 TLX as a loaner. It has an A-Spec badge on the door but everything else about it is a TLX Technology - wheels, lack of a spoiler, standard pedal, standard wheels....and unless SH-AWD drives a whole lot like my 21-Tech, the same front-wheel drive. Just odd to see a random A-Spec badge on it...

if they were gonna up-badge it, they should've used a Type S badge.

That's crazy! Why on earth would they do that?? Trying to sell it at the A-Spec price to an oblivious customer?

How about the ELS sound system, did it have 17 speakers or 10? The A-Spec always has had that.

I turned it back in this morning, but pretty sure it was the 10 speaker model. I was in a bit of a hurry (leaving town later) so I didn't get a chance to ask why the car had an A-Spec badge on it when was clearly a Tech model.

They weren't able to fix the issue (minor Acuralink issue) so I'll be back for another appt and see what loaner I get.
