Remarkably little body roll in the TLX - my VW GTi had way more when cornering hard.
My TLX doesn't feel "light and nimble" but, it does feel like it has a low CG, at least, it's almost shocking how little roll I feel in the corners.
My biggest complaint in regards to the TLX handling (on the non ASpec version) is a little bouncy/floaty feeling when you hit a bump while taking a turn hard and fast.

So, in all seriousness, is that something you're recommending? I don't really plan on doing much to my TLX unless I still have it years from now. At that point, I might need new shocks anyway.
I don't know enough about car suspension engineering to know exactly what might be deficient (or rather, not up to the level of a good sports car, because it's certainly a decent handling car more than sufficient for "most" drivers) in terms of the suspension system. I've looked up the McPherson Strut design, and read about everything I could find regarding the TLX suspension from the "dual damper vent" to the differences between the sway bars on the std. vs Aspec TLX (minimal difference, just a slight improvement on the Aspec).
I'm under the impression that slightly stiffer springs could offer improved handling and was wondering myself, if better shocks would be needed to counter the additional bounciness that stiffer springs might add?

So I actually installed the polybushing on the rear sway bars. I got a 1 inch energy suspension universal kit, it actually fit perfectly with the stock bracket. Driving around for a month I notice the rear is firmer planted, and when taking turns of the highway it’s crisp not a night and day difference but you know something has changed in the rear.
