So there is a specific acura tlx TEIN street advance coilover system for $750. However it was designed for the 4cyl. I asked if it'll work on the v6 model and they said they didnt try it on the v6 version and cant comment. Any ideas on whether or not itll work?

It will fit but depending on the spring rate, it might be too soft.

I have street advance on my TLX 4 cyl. the fit is good, But you have to use a double washer or thicker washer above the top hat. If you dont then there's going to be a gap when you assemble it and it's going to knock around like a loose coin.

I called Tein to resolve the issue but they asked me to take it in. They said they did a test fit and everything worked good on their TLX. I'm thinking it's because they didnt lower it enough. But i figured it out myself. I just closed the gap by stacking 2 washers to get that tight fit on the top hat.

Other than that, all the nuts and bolts are perfect fit.
