Not a '16 but my '15

I have the ASpec wheels on my '15 and so very glad I did so. Fits perfectly and was able to get an amazing deal on wheels with tires and TPMS. Only had 45 miles on them.

Wow! That looks good. I just got a 16 TLX in white and want to put the 19" charcoal aspec wheels on it. Is that what those are?... and... how much did you pay and where did you get em?

Thanks

ASpec Rims

Yes, these are the OEM A-Spec Rims from Acura (Original manufacturer is Enkei). 19"' with Michelin Primacy Tires
I found these on the bay but did an off the beaten path deal through Pay Pal

Hey gave me an awesome deal on them and just wanted to move em.
$1500 for the Wheels, TPMS, and the Tires shipped. Tires alone would have costed $1000.
Finished the deal and got them within a week; really lucked out with a great transaction from a good guy. His buddy pretty much bought an Aspec and then switched out the wheels right away. These were brand new.

Well, it looks great! It looks like you have done exactly what I want to do. Paint the beak and the window trim and put the aspec wheels under it. I'm also considering painting the emblems on the rear of the car and putting a very light tint on the headlights.

Nice ride, man. Love the white

Could you post more pics of your car? It looks like you are doing what I want to do to mine.

Thanks

Oh yeah. Gets me excited.
The only thing I want to do different is to color match the beak and paint the emblems black. Other than that, our cars will look the same. Don't worry, i'm in Texas.
2 questions and i'll leave you alone.
Did the ride suffer a lot from the increased wheel size? (found some without tires for $1200. I think I can get em for $900)
Is that sunshade a dealer item?

Thanks again for your time and the sweet pics.

Ah no worries. Definitely willing to help out. I didnt know where to go and didn't have anyone so glad I'm able to help out.

$900 is pretty good if they're brand new and see if they come with the TPMS and center caps. Sometimes you might be better off going to the dealership to set if you could get a deal.

Hopefully the guys you but from aren't refurbished or replicas. Had to so allot of research before jumping in.
Tires at Costco are anywhere from 800-900 with the deal they are running right now.

As for the blacking out, get quotes first. Might be cheaper if you buy the actual ASpec window trim since it's already black and it matches or is the same size and you can get it installed.

And yes the sunshade is factory from Acura. Got it for 45 from a local dealershi.

Good luck!

And regarding the ride, not allot. I actually like to feel the road more and I actually take turns faster with minimal to no slide at all. You will notice slower acceleration and get used to braking a little more aggressively.

But I love the feel of the car.

yeah, the wheels are brand new. Centers included, but not the TPMS. I thought the TPMS from the 2018 model would not work with our cars anyway?

I might just grab some cash and head out on an excursion around Dallas this weekend to the local Acura dealers. One of em is bound to have a set of take-offs.

The paint work will be the cheapest thing for me to do. I have a close friend that has been painting custom cars for 20 years.

Ah good luck.

I think Acura TPMSs are universal. I haven't received any error or anything on my car since I put them on two weeks ago. Bringing the car to service this Monday. I can all them to check it to see if it's working. You can always take the ones off your old rims and put them on. I still have my OEM wheels.

Hey how's the A Spec Wheel search going??

Randomly ran accross this post if you're still in the market.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F19 2638007112

And you're right, A Spec tpms didn't work with my '15. Dealership is trying to fix the situation and maybe order me a new set, hopefully, under warranty.

G luck

Hey Guys. Did you have an issues getting these installed? I also bought the 19-inch Aspec OEM wheel. Took them today to get them installed at Costco with Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. Costco said the rims don't fit my 2015 TLX. They tried putting them on there but they are saying it's not sitting flush with the hub. Did you have any issues? Where did you get them installed?

Mine is a 2015 2.4 Base model with 17-inch wheels.

I haven't had any problems with mine when I installed them? I actually had my local Goodyear tire center install, balance, and even align the wheels. There was no issues. Even brought it back to the dealership and had them look at it for something else and no issue. That's weird?

I'm too looking into doing this. I have a 2016 2.4 w/Tech. While looking on eBay, eBay informed me that the 19" Aspec does not fit my vehicle; I changed the vehicle to a 3.5 v6 and bam, it fits. I don't know much between the i4 and V6 and don't have time to research right now, but this might be the case...

@A11Skillz is yours a V6?

Amazing looking car! I bought a '15 last year that I'm finally starting to modify. I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind.

- Did you paint the roof or wrap it?
- Did you paint, wrap, or replace the front grille? If you replaced it, is that an A-Spec Grille or aftermarket?
- Did you paint, wrap, or replace the window trim? If replaced, did you use the A-Spec trim? Was it a pain to replace?
- Do you have a part number for the correct TPMS Sensors for '15 - '17?

I do know the A-Spec 19’s are an inch wider. I don’t know anything about the offset, but that might be causing the issue.

Sorry for the late reply but I didn't get a notification lol. That'd explain the fitment I think. Such a shame because I love the looks on those 19in A spec wheel

I don't see why they won't fit ANY year or ANY trim TLX. They 2019/2020 4cyl aspec has the same rims.....I have 20" rims on mine but soon planning on swapping them with these 19s. Mines a v6 all wheel drive but still I believe ANY tlx ANY trim ANY year should fit no issues.

anyone in the Los Angeles area wanna buy my A-Spec wheels off my 2019? they will have the tires on them but I will take out the TPMS for my 20" set up. I can deliver for a good offer. you'll still need to get the tires mounted at a shop.
