Transmission leak

So i went to go change my oil and i noticed my transmission is leaking oil. It was dripping into the protective tray that’s whey i never saw none on the ground. It’s at the dealer now they should be calling me Monday with a status update on it.

You would think that someone from Acura, Corporate, or the dealership, would let us know; DUH!

Yup, still haven't called me back as of yet. Hopefully it's just the tsb and I'm on my way, I'm driving around my ILX now and I sure do miss my aspec.

Being that the car is garaged, indoors, if the leak was present, I'd probably see it
Anyway, thanks, for the heads-up, & shame on Acura for the non-notification; unacceptable!

They just called me, it's the tsb that is the issue, at least i wont have to wait a week for a new tranny. Funny thing is my car is in the garage as well and i never noticed a drop until i removed the protective shield, the oil was gathering in that pan. i guess it's good to check every thousand mile, i was going to take another trip up to Canada and im glad i found this issue before i was stuck.

So they needed to replace seal ring at the axle base on the tranny, that’s a new one lol. Let’s see if anyone else has this issue

If it's a TSB, you can bet it's an issue others have had.
