Question Parasitic losses - 2016 TLX SH-AWD Tech Advance

Recently, I went on a long vacation - say 30 days, when I came back the TLX would not start - got an unusual amount of warning/dash lights, and a clicking noise from starter, and then several weird dashboard illuminations. I put a battery charger on overnight and all is well again. So, I brought the car in to my dealer since it was due for an oil change, and they were to check the battery etc. Dealer says its all good. I asked the service manager if it was unusual for the car battery to drain down in 30 days and he stated it was normal, the car had a lot of electronic loads that drain the battery even when off.
So - the EZ solution is to wire a battery tender in, and do that when I travel. No problem.
But looking for any feedback the group has if you leave the car unused for a long time - what your experience has been. My Ford Edge started right up with no issue.

Also BTW, the blind spot monitoring did not come back to life after the car was restarted and it took a couple of days before it worked properly.
