I noticed this creaking noise a couple of weeks ago,but didnt think much of it,now it's gotten a little more prominent, it doesn't make the noise in park or reverse just when in drive and foots on brake and turning steering wheel,even if turning just a little,anyone have any idea what it may be?Its 2018 tlx 4i,have a appointment with dealer monday.

Never got response, but gonna update.Dealer replaced driver side strut assembly, was ok for a day and now noise is back again..Anyone one else heard of this issue anywere?

yes i have same issue. it's annoying i just left it and turn music on louder.
I did ask dealership about it, technician checked it with me in car and says it's normal.

My son-in-law was just describing this problem to me yesterday on his Hyundai Santa Fe. He took it to the dealer and the steering wheel coupling was replaced, which fixed the problem.

Went to dealership yesterday, same tech looked at it again,said hes not sure,there gonna try rack and pinion now..smh

Well after rack and pinion along with inner and outer tie rod replaced,the noise is still there...The tech recommended for service to have a parts specialist come visit and let them to decide what to do next,smh...
