Climate Control Issue

So, if you guys remember, i mentioned that my climate control was making a "hellicopter" sound, only when cold and fan speed on high blowing to the floor. Well, the dealer determined it is the blower fan. They ordered the parts, and booked me in for what we all assumed would be a 1 day in and out fix. It's now been 7 days. They tell me it should be ready today, finally. I've been driving a 2016 MDX since, so no real complaints there, but to any of you that have simillar sounds coming from your climate control, this job is alot more complex and involved than they thought. I"m just more curious to see the work order and see exactly what needed to come apart. Apparently my car was in peices as per the service advisor, steering coloumn was out and all. He said that the Tech is being very cautious, and did not want to rush anything. It's also a learning experience for them as this is the first time they are doing this work to a TLX. Great, i've become the guinea pig!

I've also been a guinea pig for an issue, so I'm right there with you! Just be patient and I'm sure they'll have your baby back together and better than new soon!

How's that 2016 MDX?

The 2016 MDX is amazing. As i've mentioned in another post, this MDX with the same 9spd auto as my car drives like a dream. No jerky shifting, propt quick response, and it feels like it has more power than the TLX. Which is strange, given the fact the MDX weighs more, and it has the same engine and tranny. If they could program the TLX 9spd to operate like it does in the MDX, then the TLX will be perfect. I really hope they get this software implemented into the TLX.

Wow ... Amazing to hear about that on the MDX. I really hate the sudden absence of acceleration from under your right foot for a second and then a sudden gush of power...
