Annoying speaker ticking sound and cabin shaking 2.4L
Hi,
I just purchased a 2015 certified 2.4L Acura TLX (22k miles). I just had a few questions about it.
1) When I turn the vehicle on and it is connecting to Bluetooth, their is a very annoying, rapid ticking sound coming from the speakers. It then goes off after it is connected.
2) Also just when I accelerate at highway speeds the cabin shakes slightly, wasn't sure if this was normal or not.
If any of you allcould help me out, that would be great.
-Thanks!

I hear that same ticking only once and a while, not sure why it happens to you all the time. Try disconnecting the phone and reconnecting it.
The car may shake a tiny bit, but if its significant I would ask the dealership where you bought it to rebalance the tires.
Best of luck

It's certified, take it back to have them look at it

The ticking when turning the car on and the phone connecting to the bluetooth is volume related. If you turn the volume knob down, it will go away. My car occasionally does this too.... not 100% sure why. I haven't gotten it checked out yet, but slowly realized turning the volume knob down makes it go away, while turning it up makes it louder. Not sure if all the TLXs do this or if there is a problem with it

It's weird though because it only happens for a few seconds while the phone is connecting and then goes away quickly. Could be some sort of interference like you mentioned. Once the phone is connected, everything works flawlessly. It only happens occasionally also

i mean if you think about it...
you have the bluetooth protocol and other various wires and power being sent throughout your car.
maybe something from the factory isnt grounded well or unshielded
the only thing i can equate it to is...a simple aux cable.
for some reason, I get static and fuzzy noise when connecting an aux cable, but whenever music is playing i dont hear the static
