Thumbs up Am I going crazy, coincidence, or what?

Ever since a new Mobil service station opened near me; (about a month ago), my 2015 SH-AWD/TLX/Tech/14,000 miles, runs better!
I've replaced the transmission, before, which helped somewhat, but now the car runs better than new!
Is it the new pumps? I've only been using 93 octane, since purchasing 2 years ago
All I know is that there's zero hesitation in the transmission; power is plentiful, & smooth
Thoughts?

I heard Mobil adds unicorn piss in their blends. Keep it down low tho.

Do you really only have 14K miles on it? I think it is probably just that it is starting to get broken in. I have somewhere between 6 and 10K miles on the new transmission, over 41K total, and is silky smooth and no hesitation.

I have 16,000 miles on my '15 TLX AWD I still have the original transmission . I never had major problem but there is no question that the car drives much better than when new. I posted a month ago that I thought the transmission had finally learned how I drive. Smooth upshifts and no hesitation when downshifting to pass. Also no longer have the weird downshifting when slowing down in sport +

Ask 10 people and you'll get 11 different answers. At different times of the year, my 2015 drives differently. Sometimes it has the crappy shifting. At high speed acceleration, it feels beautiful (like going from 50 mph to 75-80 mph). Sometimes I feel the sluggish acceleration from a stop is there while other times it isn't. I think all these transmissions behave differently with all the patching and who-,knows-what has changed during the manufacturing process. If yours drives well, congrats. Don't jinx yourself.

Still lovin' my ride!

After cruising upstate NY, this past weekend, I'm convinced, more than ever, that the ZF transmission issue has been rectified
Mine was replaced, about 5,000 miles ago, & I'm ecstatic
Filled the tank with Mobil Premium, & drove 250- 300 miles; (including NYC, stop & go),75 mph/highway, & averaged 33.5 MPG, with the A/C cranking!
Plenty of reserve power; no hesitation, & no wheel shimmy
Right now, this car rocks! Hope it remains this way, till January 2018, when my lease expires
