115 Degrees and LKAS/Collsion avoidance no work

115 Degrees and LKAS/Collsion avoidance no work

So here in LA its now 115 degrees. I haven't driven my 15 TLX I4 Tech for 10 days. Parked outside. I start it up and within a minute I get 2 messages and warning lights.

Forward Collision Warning Problem

Lane departure Warning Problem

I'm betting this is due to the heatwave we are currently going though. Assuming the electronics are completely under engineered.

Appointment on Friday.

Are you sure you're not in Phoenix? lol. I see that it got to 102 or so in LA, but who knows. Phoenix hit 120 the other day, I think. They'll be seeing consistent 110-120 all week. TLX's there are probably going to explode.

I live in SoCal as well and had a similar experience today. It was 108 when I left work and I got this message on the nav screen -



The message would just reappear after pressing "OK". Restarting the car didn't make a difference either. Figuring that it was a temperature related issue, I kept pressing "OK" on my way home as the car cooled down. Sure enough, after 30mins or so, the error cleared. I am heading to Vegas
later this week where it is supposed to be 109 - 113 degrees, I am curious if it will happen again. Just one more problem to add to the long list of issues I have had with this car.

I had this error once and it was not hot outside. I re-started the car and it cleared. Don't know what it meant but I haven't had it again.

Good to hear that it might just be an anomaly, not related to heat.

• The camera temperature gets too high.

May be cancelled or display there's a problem?

So today, with temps in the 90's, both systems are working. I'm leaving the messages in the system for the dealer to review. I think it's just a matter of heat.

I work in a hot part of LA, and my co-worker said she had the same problem with her 2015 MDX yesterday. She said it was working fine today.
