TLX Photoshoot 9.28.2014

As some of you know, I just recently picked up my 2.4 TLX Tech. I think I might be the first TLX owner with V6 wheels on a 2.4? But anyway, was bored today so I decided to do a photoshoot. Keep in mind I am not a professional nor do I use any professional equipment as these were all taken with a Galaxy S5. Without further adieu, I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the great photos!

I think that these 18" wheels should have been the standard wheels on the 2.4L models, while the 3.5L models should just get the 19" wheels.

i thought the LED fogs were only available with the V6 with Advance? or did you add them separately?

They are, I just used my credit towards accessories on foglights

Yes, the photos are great. If the V6 came standard with 19" I would have downgraded them to 18". I do not like the look of the 19", too busy and more to clean. Also I am into ride comfort where smaller wheel size is better. My snow tires will be mounted on 17".

nice! I saw a TLX V6 with the Advance Package this weekend. it reminded me so much of my 06 with the A-Spec front/rear. not gonna lie, I miss it more now that I see the current TLX. its like Acura went back to the styling of the 3rd gen and improved on it.

It's interesting how the lighting condition made the GLM colour look like bronze in some photos - actually, bronze would have been a great colour for the TLX!

In fact, Forest Mist (that the 2015 MDX has) would have been a nice colour for the TLX too. As much as I like the TLX, Acura could have offered some more interesting colour choices both inside and out.

Yes, at least half of the pictures make it look like my BCP. If similar pictures were taken of my BCP they might even look like CBP.

The pictures were all taken an hour before and 30 mins after sunset so it could be the lighting making the color look more bronze in some pics, or it might be my phone.

^Funny I was thinking the same thing.. Also, to my eyes anyway, certain angles and lighting made the GLM look much lighter than it is in person..

Nice pics OP..

Did you find a set of those v6 wheels used, or did the dealer swap them out for you? Ebony or Greystone interior? My GLM/Ebony tech is supposed to be here in Nov.

I do love the way that color looks under different lighting conditions! Why did I order white?

I picked up a set of used V6 wheels from a forum member here a week before I took delivery of my car.
